Product Description
INSTALLATION:Before installing the hair, we recommend that you first co-wash the hair with a conditioner that is free of sulfates, alcohols, and parabens. Let the hair air dry once conditioned. When installing the hair we highly recommend that you do not cut the wefts(the tracks). We recommend using the fold-over method. This method will reduce shedding and increase the longevity of the hair.SHAMPOOING AND CONDITIONING:CHOOSING YOUR PRODUCT. We recommend conditioning the hair more than shampooing the hair. You want to co-wash the hair with a quality conditioner at least once a week. Shampoo can be applied to the hair once every two weeks to a month. When choosing your product you want to ensure the product does not contain any sulfates, alcohols, and parabens. Trial and error may occur while trying to find the product that works best for you.THE PROCESS OF WASHING/CO-WASHING:Before shampooing/co-washing the hair it is very important to make sure the hair is combed from the bottom working your way to the top of the hair. If the hair is not combed out before the co-wash it may cause tangling. When washing the hair apply an abundant quantity of product and stroke the hair in a downward motion with the product. FOR BEST RESULTS LET THE HAIR AIR DRY ABD APPLY A SMALL AMOUNT OF LIGHT OIL/SERUM TO ADD MOISTURE. Please keep in mind that the hair is no longer attached to a scalp and does not receive the same amount of moisture and nutrients as your own hair does. It is extremely important that you manually apply this moisture.COLORING:ALL VIRGIN hair can be ordered to your liking. We highly recommend consulting with a professional before applying color to the hair. If you decide to color the hair make sure to condition the hair twice as much to maintain the moisture and reduce damage from the processing of color.SWIMMING&EXERCISING:We do not recommend getting chemicals such as cholorine that may be in pool water on the hair. These unknown chemicals can cause damage to the hair. If u do choose to engage in a swimming activity, be sure to wear a protective swimming cap made of latex. Immediately co-wash the hair after swimming to remove the damaging chemicals, whether the swimming took place in a pool or the ocean. When exercising or participating in extraneous activities, be sure to wrap and tie the hair up. This will help reduce tangling and matting of the hair from sweat and dirt.SLEEPING:NEVER SLEEP ON WET HAIR! Make sure your hair is completely dry before going to bed. We recommend either wrapping or braiding the hair together before lying on the hair(highly recommend if you have a curly textured hair). A satin or silk based head wrap is recommended when tying the hair up. A satin or silk based pillow case can provide exta protection while sleeping.CLOSURES:When installing a closure, we highly recommend consulting with a professional who has experience in closure installation. When shampooing/conditiong the closure please refer to the shampooing and conditioning section. DO NOT use a fine tooth comb or a weave/wig brush to scratch or comb at the base of your closure. This will lead to closure balding. You want to avoid over processing knots on your closure with hair dyes and/or hair blench. We recommend that you use other forms of blending on your closure base, such as concealer. DO NOT BLEACH THE SILK BASE CLOSURE.
